History

1970

Mr. Palani Acharya, with over 25 years of experience to his credit, established Tirupati Venkateshwar Engineering Works at 21/6 GIDC Makarpura, Vadodara.

Though he didn’t have any formal education in this field, he was naturally clever with a desire to learn. He caught the attention of Mr. Kirloskar while working at a small garage in Pune. Mr. Kirloskar offered him a job at Kirloskar Oil Engines, Pune, where Mr. Palani trained with the Germans in their tool room. Within no time, he become skilled at tool making.

He worked at Gril limited (Ahmedabad) & Gujarat Rubber Works Ltd. (Vadodara) before setting up his own venture in Vadodara.

He built a weaving/braiding loom which was showcased in Surat, through which he got recognized by the Indian Government. He went on to become one of India’s most skilled engineers of his time through his hardwork, intelligence and impeccable attention to detail.

1984

PARMANAND INDUSTRIES was set up at GIDC, Makarpura in 1984, by Mr. Palani Acharya, with over 25 years of experience to his credit. This gave the company a more structured recognition for tool making under the leadership of Mr. Parmanand Acharya ( Murli ), Mr. Palani’s eldest son.

1986

Rubber moulding department was added under Parmanand Industries wings.

1989

Plastic moulding facility was established.
Two factories with overall area of 15,000 sq ft were setup in POR GIDC, Ramangamdi.

1994

PARMANAND INDUSTRIES was converted to a partnership firm in 1994.

Started exporting globally. Started supplying rubber components to ONGC and other major industries.

1996

Plastic moulding was moved to 303/16, GIDC, Makarpura with a factory area of 18,000 sqft in close proximity to our Tool room

2000

Started supplying spares to Indian Army after the (Op. Paraakram) Kargil War (1999).

2004

Became T-1 supplier for major MNC and Public sector organisations

2006

Started a Sheetmetal press shop as a T-2 supplier for major 2 wheeler manufacturers in India

2009

Bought 21/4 GIDC, Makarpura to expand Rubber Moulding facility (6000 sqft).
Went on to buy 21/3 & 21/2 GIDC, Makarpura in the coming years (12,000 sqft).

2021

Bought 23 & 18/A GIDC, Makarpura to expand Sheet Metal facility (30,000 sqft).
Became global supplier for major MNC’s
